RTI-Tanzania Applauds New Efforts to Strengthen Pandemic Preparedness

As RTI-Tanzania continues its research study on Pandemic Preparedness, Prevention, and Response (PPPR), a project aimed at understanding outbreaks and contributing to global insights on pandemic impacts, we are excited to witness aligned efforts taking shape across the country.

With funding from the Lancet commission, we are delighted to recognize the launch of a new Pandemic Fund project, led by partners across Tanzania, which aims to strengthen health emergency preparedness and response systems. Initiatives like these reinforce our shared commitment to ensuring that communities are better protected, informed, and resilient in the face of future global health threats.
